Collectors Rejoice! – With the Star Wars Mighty Beans

October 11, 2010 – Started in 2002 by Australian company Moose Enterprises and building up an amazingly big following over the next eight years, Mighty Beanz are a toy brand that just seem to keep selling and selling. So far there have been the original Mighty Beans, Marvel Mighty Beanz, as well as many others. Whenever a genre or a new range of new beans arrive on the scene collectors snap them up quickly, leading to a stock market type situation where certain beans go up in price on auction sites due to their rarity.

The latest range of Mighty Beanz to be release is the Star Wars Mighty Beanz. Star Wars must be one of the most collectible brands out there already, so it is match made in heaven for them to meet “beanification”! Already there have been more than 80 beans released on the range, going from Hans Solo trapped in carbonite to the humble sand Jawa. Each Mighty Bean is printed with a copy of an original hand drawing which really makes the characters have a great style all of their own. Plus the graphics are really cool, well drawn and great to look at.

So if you have a large collection of the Mighty Beanz Star Wars, how do you go about storing them? Luckily there is a range of carry cases specifically release in line with the Beanz themselves to carry them about. The first carry case and one that is getting a high price on auction sites at the moment is the Millennium Falcon carry case which is a little cute bubble spaceship (a parody of the original model from the films). The next case is the Darth Vader mask tin, which comes in black, and looks like a GIANT Mighty Bean. Inside both cases you can store up to 40 Beanz – more than enough for your collection!
